The clouds over Manhattan today look like a child's hand reaching over to grab a toy.
Thought for the day is from viewing the Rococo exhibit at the Cooper-Hewitt yesterday: Curves are wasteful and expensive to maintain; they represent abundance and power on the part of the owner/creator. Nature is full of curves - and how easily it is maintained.

#46 The currency of life...

Mid-day in beautiful, Spring sunshine.
Thought for the day: The currency of life is love, of which we are given an abundance despite our feelings of utter unworthiness at giving it and sharing it.

Again, the clouds are much more dramatic than the cityscape this rainy pre-Spring morning.

Thought for the day: "...as I went through the city and looked carefully at the objects of your worship, I found among them an altar with the inscription, 'To an unknown god.' What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. The God who made the world and everything in it, he who is Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in shrines made by human hands, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mortals life and breath and all things. " Acts 17.23b-25

A beautiful day, a beautiful dawn.

Thought for the day: "We are mortals just like you, and we bring you good news, that you should turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them." Acts 14.15
